Sampling and Inspection
During the different production stages, dimensional controls are carried out directly in the machining centers or with our Wenzel XOrbit CMM machine. On request, GOM optical scanning can also performed at the end of processing.
Once the mold is completed, the following documented checks are carried out:
- Mold spotting
- Circuits tightness check up to 20bar
- Circuits Flow Rate check
FORMSTAMPI has several partner foundries to offer the customer a sampling service or for the production of small batches. Dimensional inspection of the parts and possible corrections to the mold are made before final delivery.
If requested, we can supply the trimming tool together with the die-casting mold. We cooperate with specialised partner companies during all stages of development, involving them already in the first phase of industrialisation of the product in order to allow trimming of the profile and following them up to the testing of the trimming tool before delivery.
